Kaloust Guedel has found a territory of artistic expression beyond the bounds of intensity. His work tackles a force unknown.

 ..."his first in awhile to include figural references. These outsize distorted heads Guedel has radically manipulated with the computer and planted them in his characteristic black washes and sprays. They are painful and at the same time playful reassertions of an existential void, profane yet passionate animations that speak of physical and emotional violence in the same broad but knowing way that a (classic) comic strip does."

Assertive, Disciplined. Driven. Self-assured. Exudes full confidence on the part of the artist, both in his vision, and his means. As a result, deeply satisfying and empowering for the viewer.
